Delete Your Account

Agora Talk supports full account and data deletion. You can delete your account directly in the app at any time.

How to Delete Your Account in the App

  1. Open Agora Talk
  2. Go to your Profile tab
  3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
  5. Review what happens to your data
  6. Enter your password and type "delete" to confirm
  7. Tap the delete button to permanently delete your account

When you delete your account, your profile, email address, and personal information are permanently removed. Your messages and reactions will remain but will be attributed to "Deleted User" to preserve the integrity of conversations. You will be removed as a follower from all groups, and groups where you are the sole host will be frozen. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Can't Access Your Account?

If you're unable to log in, you can reset your password:

  1. Open Agora Talk and go to the login screen
  2. Tap "Forgot Password"
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account
  4. Check your email for a reset code and enter it in the app
  5. Set a new password
  6. Once logged in, follow the steps above to delete your account
